Strange ... I never thought that I could have any meaningful conversation with anyone (I do not already know) from the net, be it irc, msn or icq but this person was different.
She dropped a message about the uniqueness of my nickname and from there we spoke briefly. But in that brief contact, there was a certain connectedness with her, an understanding of things in life - its transcience, its fleeting nature. It seems we shared an unspoken pain and loss, and the realisation of how many things in life are just 'gone ... too soon.' There was a certain maturity in her tone and her words ... And a quote from her ICQ details left me thinking:
"Perhaps it is the fact that we do not know our own expiry date that makes our life seems so unpredictable and to some, extremely short.. but by knowing, does that mean that we would be more daring in pursuing our dreams.. catching that moment before it is gone.. or even taking time to smell the roses?"
Is this what they call a divine connection, a transcendental relation?
