What would life be without ...

Friends ...

Think it's one of God's greatest gifts. Though friends still 'come and go', they keep coming - and some do stay. It's rare but it happens. And they keep coming - newly formed friendships can be as fulfilling and perhaps in some ways more fulfilling that old ones, ones that have passed into the domain of history.

It's rare too to find friends whom you can feel comfortable to share your life with. It doesn't mean we share everything but we share much; we share the gift of ourselves - our laughter, our intellect, out emotions, our empathy, and most importantly our love and affection.

I had a good day and dinner with Charlotte whom I'm beginning to grow fonder of with each encounter. It's a rare connection that we share, a kind of understanding and perception of life. She's certainly one person who isn't intimidated by my intellect and rhetoric and can match it in every way, yet empathetic and affectionate in every way. Thanks for your friendship Charlotte. I truly appreciate your love and presence.

What would my life be, I begin to wonder, without friends.

This is to my friends, who have been with me and still are; to those who have shared my life's burdens and tribulations. I wish you the very best because you have given me the best experience in life. I hope I've been as good a friend to you as you have been to me.
