The academic year is coming to a close; although the race hasn't quite ended. Just a short distance more to the real end.
Looking back, with the storms and tempests that have occurred on all fronts of my life, I wonder how I've survived. Undeniably, I've been badly scathed, battered and bruised but I survived. And when I relate to my friends the things that I've experienced this year, and the workload I've shouldered, I am amazed at how I'm still standing.
Next year looks to be equally tumultous, if not more. But the experience this year gives me hope that I'll still remain standing at the end of the next year. And I will then chart new worlds to traverse.
