The background for my blog is really boring. I wonder how others change it. Perhaps it's one of those mysteries of computing that are beyond me. I wonder how people change font types and colours as well.
Or is this fixity a reflection of my mundane and inescapable existence?
I think blogs are an attempt at immortality - of public immortality reaching masses. It's perhaps self-delusional in the belief that people would actually read this. And if so, how honest can one actually be really. I used to keep a diary in Word but perhaps both aren't that different after all. When we write, we believe that somehow, somewhere in time, someone would pick up our diary and read our innermost thoughts penned down. But does that really happen? I suppose they do. Writers, dictators, Royalty and the like often have their diaries discovered and their intrepid workings of their minds revealed, ala Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf. But how many of us attain such fame and popularity - is it even necessary?
Musings ... trying to get used to this new-fangled contraption.
