From a fairly sensible Anerican TV drama series:
"Justice? It's just a flip of a coin, a turn of the wheel ... Justice is merely luck"
And that left me wondering.
One of the causes I've always tried to uphold is justice. Yet I ask myself of late, observing at the 'injustice' that is happening to me, and to my friends at work, where is justice?
Who's concept of what's just and unjust do and can we base it on? Aren't we, at the end of the day, merely basing it on our own myopic, self-conceived and self-centred notions on what is just?
Is there a 'universal' justice in a world so fragmented by culture, religion and beliefs?
And yet some would lay down their lives for it ...
Would I?
