Toast with Tharman

I'm attempting to pass the seemingly insiginificant half hour before the clinic opens again by making an entry.

Clinic ... This persistent bug has been pestering me for the past four days and it's making its presence felt more strongly particularly today. I wonder how I got through today. Think the adrenaline pushed me through all 4 classes, with three of them back to back, and two drearily depressing meetings ... Pushed me through quite literally! I ended the last classes with such a splitting headache I thought someone had hit my head with a cudgel. Thank God Mrs Lau is doing the lesson for the Sci-Fi elective today or I would probably be crawling away from that class if I had to do it.

I promised not to dabble with politics or politicians any longer and after having just rejected one on Sat (with a valid reason!!! yey!), I'm caught in another. Now I have no excuses. Tharman is coming down to have morning ' tea' tomorrow and guess who's among the crowd to entertain him!? Bleh ... hate it. I wrote a humourously sarcastic email to the VP saying "should I be critical or consensual tomorrow?" Guess she caught the humour and the cynicism. Oh well ... and looking at the company I have, it looks like I'll have to open my mouth again ...

Hhhhmmmm ... need to finish work, even with this headache!
